La Grange labourer charged for “blasting” music

Twenty-nine-year-old Rodwell Brown of La Grange, West Bank Demerara was on Friday arraigned before Wales Magistrate Rushell Liverpool on a noise nuisance charge detailing that he had made loud and continuous noise whilst being on the La Grange Public Road on July 27 last.
The prosecution’s contention was that Brown played his stereo system at a level which annoyed Pamela Peters, virtual complainant (VC) in this matter, who was not present at last Thursday’s arraignment.
Brown, a labourer, denied the charge and told Magistrate Liverpool that he had never previously been charged.
He was placed on bail in the sum of ,000, and will make his next court appearance on August 24.
