WICB CONGRATULATES THE GUYANA CRICKET BOARD

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The board of directors, management and staff of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) would like to congratulate the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) for being named the top sporting association of 2015. Equally “we are elated for Anand Sanasie who was named the top administrator.”

 “Guyana’s cricket has improved considerably and they continue to dominate the regional competitions in several categories. We are excited at the opportunities for the region. We consider this a positive trend that as each region’s cricket gets better, West Indies cricket will also get better,” said President, Dave Cameron. The President went on to note that “this is a good achievement to follow by the other regions.”
The WICB is preparing for the upcoming Tri-Nation series which opens in Guyana on June 3. Guyana will also celebrate 50 years of independence later this month. (windiescricket.com)
