East Coast Committee Cricket Club (ECCCC) defeated Calcutta SC by 200 runs in their fourth round match of the East Coast Cricket Committee/SPR Enterprise 40 overs cricket competition at Calcutta Mahaicony over the weekend.
Led by an entertaining 114 from under-19 wicketkeeper batsman Vishwanauth Ramlakan, ECCCC amassed 305 for 6 wickets in 40 overs after taking first strike.
Other useful contibutions came from I.Hassan 79, and Chandrabhan Seemangal 44 not out. Ramlakan hit 16 boundaries in his innings, while Hassan entertained with four boundaries and four maximums. R.Gransaul took 2 wickets for 46 from seven overs for Calcutta SC.
In reply Calcutta SC were bowled out for 105 in the 18th over. Left arm seamer Gavin Moriah continued his good form with three wickets for 38 runs while Matthew Shivtahal had two for 31 runs.e
ECCCC remains unbeaten in the competition and will play Golden Achievers of Golden Grove in their next match.
