No arrest made, investigations continuing – Commander

Investigators probing the armed robbery of a 36-year-old delivery man attached to the Royal Castle Chicken fast food chain, who was shot, are yet to make an arrest.
Commander of A Division (Georgetown-East Bank Demerara) Clifton Hicken told Guyana Times on Tuesday that no arrest has been yet made. However, he noted that investigations are ongoing.
Around 21:20h on Monday, Satyhatram Karran, who is attached to the Sheriff Street Royal Castle Georgetown branch, was making a delivery in Lamaha Gardens, Georgetown, when he was confronted by a man, who was armed with a firearm.
During the incident, Karran, of Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara (WBD), was shot to his left hand, and the perpetrator took away his CG motorcycle and escaped. Karran was admitted to hospital for treatment, but was discharged on Tuesday.
