All preparations are in place and a huge crowd is expected to converge at the picturesque Cumberland Cricket Ground in the East Canje area for the Young Warriors Cricket Club (YWCC) annual fundraiser, Mash Cup 2016.

The tournament which was slated for February 23 but was postponed is now set for Sunday at the Cumberland Ground.
As sponsors continue to show confidence in the work of the club and the popularity of this tournament, Sukhpaul Business Enterprise, owner of Shell Gas Station and Auto Same, New Amsterdam is the latest to come on board.
At the presentation held recently, Steven Profitt, employee attached to the New Amsterdam Branch said that his company is again pleased to be associated with this event and is impressed with the way it has been organised over the years.
His company is also happy that proceeds from this event will go towards the development of the youths in the community. Profitt took the opportunity to congratulate the club for producing the first World Cup under-19 winning captain in young batting sensation Shimron Hetmyer who successfully led West Indies under-19 team to World Cup glory in Bangladesh.
Collecting the sponsorship cheque on behalf of the club, club coach Hubern Evans thanked Sukhpaul Business Enterprise for coming on board once again.
