Executive Officer of the President’s Youth Award Republic of Guyana (PYARG) Programme, Allister Collins and his brother, Chairman of the Habitat for Humanity, Dr Astell Collins, paid a courtesy call on President David Granger at the Ministry of the Presidency on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the goals and developmental objectives of the PYARG were discussed, and President Granger assured the brothers that his office would facilitate future meetings to ensure that the group’s mandate was fully established and achieved.
In an invited comment after the meeting, Collins said the long-overdue meeting was successful.
“I am very happy that he [President Granger] listened to the concerns we have. I wanted to hear from him about the future of the PYARG Programme, so I am very happy to hear his heart …about the future of the programme,” he said.
