Riddim Squad notched their second win of the Georgetown Football (GFA) Federation Stag Premier League on Tuesday at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC).
The Mocha based side now moved to fourth place on the table due to their dominating performance. From the blow of the whistle, Riddim Squad pounced on any opportunity that came their way which saw Sheldon Holder scoring in the sixth minute followed by Dwayne O’Riley in the 10th.
Flamingo responded when Leon Yaw netted in the 34th to end the first half. However, the second half started with another offensive display by Riddim Sqaud but they could not find the back of the net as the fixture looked to end with the current score line
However, Aqwill Liefde (90t4) scored in injury time to end the match 3-1.
Earlier, League leaders, Santos FC drew 2-2 with Beacons due to an injury time goal by Chris Galloway.
Dwayne McLennon hit a double (10trh and 18th) to put Santos up by two early in the first half but Fabian Grainford responded to cut the deficit when he easily scored in the 22nd to end an exciting first half.
As the second half lacked the intensity of the first, it looked by all accounts that Santos would coast to victory when Chris Galloway scored in injury time to give Beacons their first point in the league after five matches.
