Lloyd Anderson’s goal in the 75th minute proved to be the deciding factor as The Bishops’ High School secured victory against St Roses High School by a 1-0 margin on Saturday in the Petra Organisation’s Milo School Under-20 Schools Football tournament at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

In the earlier matches, Dolphin produced a splendid performance to defeat Richard Ishmael 4-1. Dolphin took an early lead when Shawn Mohammed netted in the 17th minute, followed by Leon Richardson in the 30th.
However, Ishmael hit back when Tamiel Hutson hit the back of the net in the 33rd, but Ryan Dowden in the 57th and Carly Lynch in the 65th extended Dolphin’s lead.
Lodge Secondary handed North Ruimveldt Secondary a 3-1 defeat with a double by Shemar Smith in the 8th and 10th minutes, followed by King Frank in the 27th. Matthew Kissson was the only scorer for the opposition in the 45th minute.
Queens College held their never to win 6-5 on penalty kicks against Tucville Secondary. In a game that went in to extra time, as neither of the teams could find a way to break the deadlock, the eventual outcome was decided by penalty kicks.
Queens College will now face Bishop’s in their quarter-final match. Round of 16 action will continue today at the same venue.
