A Lamaha Street, Georgetown, woman was placed on $25,000 bail when she appeared before Magistrate Annette Singh at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts slapped with damage to property and breach of the peace charges.
Shantel Solomon, 29, of Lot 83 Lamaha Street, stood before the court to answer to the charge which stated that on February 4 at her Lamaha Street residence she damaged one mattress among other items, at a total value of $24,000, property of June Ann Taylor, her neighbour and who resides in the same building.
It was also alleged that on the same day and location of the incident Solomon behaved in a manner causing breach of the peace for Taylor.
Additionally, Taylor told the court that this has been happening since April 2015 and she wants it to come to an end.
However, for the breach of the peace charge Solomon was placed on self bail and a bond to keep the peace while $25,000 bail was imposed for the damage to property.
The case will continue on March 24.
