A 26-year-old man was placed on $10,000 bail after he appeared before Magistrate Annette Singh at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged for simple larceny and threatening language.
Larceny accused: Stephon Archer
Stephon Archer, a worker of the cleanup campaign, stood before the court to answer to the charge which alleged that on February 10, he made use of threatening language against his uncle Wesley Cornett at their Lot 58 Garnett Street, Kitty, residence.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and told the court that he will move out of the house to avoid further problems with the Virtual Complainant (VC).
It was also alleged that on February 20, Archer stole from the VC a HP laptop computer valued $32,999.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and related that there are three other occupants in the house and that any one of them could have stolen the computer.
However, he was placed on self bail for the threatening language charge and $10,000 bail for simple larceny charge and the matter was adjourned to March 24.
