BCCC receives support from BTS

The Blairmont Centre Cricket Club (BCCC) was recently, the recipient of a new set of clothing donated by Baksh Travel Service (BTS).

The club was also the beneficiary of $50,000, which will be used for proposed projects for 2013, to target youths, the elderly and the less-fortunate.

At the presentation ceremony held at the business’ office, D’Edward village, West Coast Berbice, supervisor of the BTS, Maria Baksh, stated that the company is pleased to be associated with the club because of the club’s recent performances.

“We are pleased to be associated with the club and the team’s performance over the years has been rapidly growing,” said Baksh.

She expressed confidence in BCCC and challenged the members of the club to maintain their high level of performance.

First Vice-President of the BCCC, Angad Ganesh expressed the club’s gratitude to the donor for their continued confidence in the club. He assured that all donations will be used for its intended purpose.
